The George & Horn is a 16th century inn located in the heart of the rural Hampshire village of Kingsclere. The nine recently refurbished ensuite bedrooms include a TV and internet access and many rooms have wonderful period features. The restaurant serves fine British cuisine and the ale bar offers a range of beverages and light snacks. Just off the A339 road, between Newbury and Basingstoke, The George & Horn is a 15-minute drive from Highclere Castle and Newbury Racecourse can be reached in a 20-minute drive.
